Coming i contact with NEGATIVE PEOPLE

We've been kind of busy lately.  School, our small business, and of course AMWAY.  Well, we've sponsored some more people and ended last month with a nice BANG.  The last 2 weeks of last month were kind of rough though.  We had lots of negative people in our way and it put us down a little.  But, we were pretty resilient and didn't allow negative people to keep us down forever.  I am going to include some motivational videos so that you all may motivate yourselves.  This isn't just so you can motivate yourself to start Amway or to join my team... Just had a small Amway get together at my apartment

Brought a few people over to my house and my sponsor was nice enough to come by to give the presentation.  Everything went by smooth and everyone loved the products and the opportunity!  I've been feeling a sense of happiness and joy every time I see or hear about Amway.  My wife and I are completely convinced that this is going to be our vehicle to financial success.  Of course, we have more plans, like investing and growing our other business, but Amway is our priority for now.  I've noticed that since we've joined and started working together, we haven't fought or argued as much as we were a few weeks before.  Anyone that knows us also knows we are a very feisty hot blooded couple.

Thoughts?  Has anyone else experience tranquility in their relationship after joining Amway?

First Day... Our Story

My wife and I got to Miami, Fl April 2011 after I was medically discharged by the Marine Corps.  I had been applying for a job a month before getting to Miami, but I hadn't received many responses.  When I got to Miami I went to some interviews and I guess I wasn't up to par because I never got a call back.  So, I started a business to at least help my wife and I survive.  The business does okay, but we want to grow more financially. During the time I started my business (Aug 2011) I met a nice lady who introduced me to Amway.  I was very skeptical and I didn't listen very much.

A couple months go by and she comes by my business again to ask me if I looked up the business.  I did look it up and found many negative reviews, so I told her I wasn't interested, she gave me her business card and told me she respects my decisions, but to call her if I ever have any questions.  I decided to dig deeper into this "Business Opportunity" and found that it was only $165 to start the business, plus they send you a whole bunch of products.  I called her to ask her some questions, then she asked if I wanted her to show me how it works step by step, I agreed and met with her at my business later that week.  After her thorough explanation, I didn't think this was a bad idea, so I signed up and got very excited.  As weeks went by I would talk about the opportunity with my wife and she turned my motivation upside down because her dad had tried Amway before with 0 results.  I gave up on it, while my sponsor still kept trying to help me.

May 2012, I talk to my mom, whom I introduced to Amway, and she tells me she's made some money (about $180) by just talking to her friends about how she loved Amway's body wash.  Then, I suddenly got motivation to keep going because I thought to myself "if my mom can do it, then why can't I?".  So here I am, May 17 2012, two weeks after getting inspired by my mom, I have also convinced my mom to at least give it a chance. We have been very positive about everything and have had little get together's in our apartment to introduce Amway to our friends, we've had negative people try bring us down and we've had optimistic people join our team.  This month (our first active month) we should make over $70 by having fun talking to people about this opportunity.
